The objective of the overall project was to build a toy that our buddy would enjoy. And since I have a younger sibling I decided to interview her. The project started off by me asking my younger sibling some questions to see what she liked and what she didn't. After she told me that her favorite animal was a cheetah, I thought why not make her something she'll really likes. So I started to build. But it wasn't as easy as I thought, as we started working on this project I found out that building shapes out of cardboard was not easy at all. I experienced many difficulties such as: how I would build a cheetah and make it 3D, was I going to paint it or maybe cover it in paper, and even got frustrated when some of my shapes we unproportional. Honestly I can't tell you how happy I am that this project is over, don't get me wrong I love your class Jorge, but this project made me cry more than it should've. This project just wasn't my thing, I learned that I'm not good with cutting cardboard and then trying to make them 3D. Something I learned from doing this project was the difference between volume and area. Volume is the amount of space an object has, while area is the measurements of the surface. Lastly, I can't tell you how excited I am to present this toy to my younger sibling.
